When the Night Feels Heavy

There are nights when silence grows too wide, when the world feels distant and you can hear your own thoughts too clearly. You start wondering how something once so full could feel so empty.

When that happens, don’t rush to fill the silence. Sit with it. Let it speak. The emptiness isn’t a void — it’s a space being cleared for something new to find you. You’re not broken for feeling deeply; you’re human, awake to your own heart.

Do the small things that bring you back to yourself. Light a candle. Breathe slowly. Write down what hurts instead of fighting it. Sometimes the act of naming the pain is enough to quiet it.

You don’t need to have answers tonight. Just presence. Just honesty. The night won’t last forever, even if it feels endless.

And when morning comes - because it always does - you’ll find that what you thought was emptiness has made room for peace.
